Blind CigarettesOn East 25th Street, it smells of smoke. A burning smoke, the kind that reminds me of computers frying, or a car that’s had a few too many miles. The smell snakes its way down the building-lined street past red-brick walls and wrought-iron fences once painted black now rust painted by the seasons.
